This projects task was to design a 8’x8’x8’ space that is engaging with the viewer, showcasing a piece of jewelry.

Design Concept

An open 3 angled walled structure that invites guest into an interactive experience that showcases the beauti- ful work of Hasamaski Takanashi’s Earrings. As one walks into the structure they will feel overwhelmed by the leaning walls creating an opressed feeling leading to the focal point which are the lions heads wearing the glis- tening earrings. Juxtaposing from the serene inside, the structure’s facade will be the bodies breaking through the angled walls giving a sense of pain and agony these tortured animals unfortunately go through.
