This projects task was to design a women’s foundation in an already existing public building that included a research center as well as a public space. I chose to create a space for Gucci’s Chime For Change that celebrates women from all walks of life, inspiring and educating individuals in the pursuit of gender equality.

Design Concept/Goals

Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of women around the world, this project aims to create an inviting women’s foundation that celebrates diversity and empowerment through its design. Incorporating a blend of ma- terials and textures inspired by different cultures, the space will exude warmth, comfort, and a sense of belonging. From intricate patterns and vibrant colors to natural textures and materials with traditional and modern craftsmanship, while keeping the integrity of the building, every detail will tell a story and pay respect to the resilience and strength of women across the globe. This founda- tion will serve as a sanctuary for women to come together, connect, and inspire one another on their journey toward empowerment and self-discovery.
